About Stephanie
Stephanie is a cradle Catholic, born and raised in Ann Arbor, MI. She was homeschooled for most of her childhood and attended a Catholic liberal arts homeschool program for middle and high school. She graduated from Ave Maria University in 2017, cum laude, with her BA in Literature with a minor in Theology. She is currently pursuing her MA in Theology (General Studies) from Holy Apostles College and Seminary online. She has worked as a teacher in various capacities ever since her college graduation, having taught preschool, online ESL classes, middle school Latin, high school theology, and, currently, high school English.
Stephanie’s main area of theological interest includes topics pertaining to marriage and the family, including St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body, God’s design for women and their role in the world and the Church, and the complementarity of men and women. She has a passion for writing not only academic, theological pieces, but also pieces of a more personal nature that are written from the heart, which she publishes on her blog. She also has a talent and love for singing and music, which she hopes to use for ministry.
Stephanie currently resides in southeast Michigan with her husband, Marcus Peter, with whom she founded the St. Peter Institute. They met at Ave Maria University on September 8, 2016, and from that day onward Stephanie knew Marcus was the man she would marry. They married just over two years later on December 8, 2018, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.
Stephanie functions as the Managing Director and the Director of Marriage and Family Life with the St. Peter Institute.
